Christmas Wedding

Every wedding is special but a Christmas wedding adds even more sentimental feelings...

Our very special neighbors asked me to make an album for his parents and her in-laws.
It was such an honor to do this for them. When my husband and I met them we became instant
friends with them and the entire family.

They wanted a 12x12 album witch isn't always that easy to do, and then  all the
pictures are 8x10! And in black and white. But I had this task to do before,
my very own wedding album was a 12x12 with all the photos being black and white.

Cards to write their favorite memories were given to each guest before the anniversary party.
They were then given to the family for me to add to the album. This is one of a few pockets
I made to hold the cards to be read later by the couple.

It was so much fun to do this album. It reminded me so much of my own wedding.
So, 12x12 pages may be a challenge but it can be done and with all the extras
you want to add.

Thanks for stopping by.........smile...............

A Book About Charlie

I found this old book with the dogs on the cover.

I like using the inside cover pages when ever possible.

I had planned to make a book for myself and my dog Sophie. While making the book it became clear that it had to be for my neighbor and her dog Charlie. Charlie is a chocolate lab. Charlie is a girl. She is now 60lbs and 8 months old. She is darling. This book came together so easily. The colors and the layout have colors that make you happy. Here are a few of the inside pages. I used stamps, charms, ribbons, flowers and all sorts of goodies. Hope you enjoy looking at the book. Thanks for stopping by.

Baby Book For Lilie

This is the cover somewhat of a book I made for my friends daughter-in-law on the
birth of her baby girl, Lilie.

I am not always good about taking pictures of the books I give away before I give them away.
Here is the cover and in the name plate I put Lilie's name. The pager were so darn cute too.
Well I think so. I did alot of pink and gingham through out the book. Loved the way it turned out.
The young mother I gave it to was very surprised and just love it. Always makes ya fill good.

Book For A Friend

KENTUCKY JUNE 2013

We took the grandkids to Kentucky to learn what it's like to live in the country with all sorts of animals. They had the best time. They got ride on horses, feed the sheep each day, follow the geese around, ride the tractor, and feed the cows in the evening. They had such a great time and our hosts were the best making sure the kids got to do it all.  Thank you so much Jack and Dorothy!!!

I always like to take a gift of something that I have made to give or leave for the host. This is the book I left for them. I am hoping they will use it to remember our time there of to fill it with pictures of their grandkids. I know she will like it.

Just a few pages so you can see the look of the book.
