Sweet Little Girl Jeans

I think it is time for a new post. I was so excited to finish this book for my granddaughter that I felt I just had to share it with all of you out there. I love the feel of excitement I get when I have made something that just tickles me. This so much makes me think of my little granddaughter in California that I have to smile.

The front and back cover of this book is made from a pair of jeans she was going to toss out last November when I was there for a visit. I helped her clean out her drawers of clothes that no longer fit her. Some of the things she was going to give to a close girlfriend and other things she was going to get rid of. I pulled this pair of jeans from the "throw-away" pile. I had seen her wear them many times and thought they were so cute. I thought maybe I could do something with them.

So this is what I came up with:

I had seen something similar on Pinterest about a year ago and it had stayed in my mind.  I changed it up a bit to and used a different pocket from the jeans. Here's the rest of the book,

The last page has a pocket on it in which the little note pad slides into. If she doesn't want the note pad in the book she can use just the pocket. Also if she uses the note pad and wants to replace it she can do that too.
The paper used was from Target when they carried K and Co. back a couple years ago. I had thought I would use it back then to make her a scrapbook but I am so much happier that I waited this long to come up with this idea. I like it so much better.
